This was our first time hosting anything like this, and honestly it was pretty seamless and the whole group had a blast! As the host, I played along as well which was super fun, not knowing who the murderer was. We felt 14 people was a very manageable crowd that caused just the right amount of chaos. It took our group 3.5 hours to wine, dine and finish the game. The detective audio recordings were well done. Highly recommend, and we’re looking forward to hosting another one, Wild West perhaps?!

We had an amazing time getting into character and finding out who the murder was. I came up with a themed menu including food and drinks and it was a total hit! I bought a few items to decorate but kept it inexpensive and it worked out very well. You need to all be in the same room for questions for quite awhile. I didn’t have room to all sit around one table or to add tables so we sat in a circle and it worked out well. We had some feedback that it was not easy to guess based on clues, however there were just very subtle items in the scripts the characters use so you need to pay close attention. We all declared we would love to do another!! Was a fantastic night. Core memory with our friends. The characters were hilarious!

I hosted it and was super nervous but the instructions were easy to follow and everyone said they had the best time and it was a night to remember for my daughters 18th birthday, fun memories made with friends and family. We hosted a charity murder mystery evening using the Gin, Jazz, Money & Murder pack and it was a blast. We had 18 guests which was absolutely perfect, the scripts and names made everyone chuckle and they all enjoyed the challenge of figuring out who the murderer was! All the paperwork, images, voice and audio files were fantastic quality and simple to organise which made preparation super easy. We have played another one before and would highly recommend them, they are suitable for both beginners and murder mystery aficionados!

Wir haben das Krimi-Dinner mit 10 Teens gespielt & alle haben sich richtig gut auf ihre Rollen eingelassen & viel Spaß gehabt. Lediglich die Logik & herauszufinden, wer dann der Mörder war, war etwas schwierig. Das ist vermutlich der Nachteil, wenn spontan gezogen wird, wer der Schuldige ist. Und Druckvorlagen für Namensschilder wären noch ganz schön. Aber ansonsten war es super!

We were a group of 14 and everyone enjoyed the murder mystery game. Each person came in costume and played their character all evening. We had a friend act as the organizer and it’s highly recommended to have an organizer so all characters can play without worrying about keeping the game moving forward. Super fun!

We had an amazing experience with the 1920s themed murder mystery game! The game was very easy to follow and the material provided electronically was comprehensive and made it simple to distribute to my guests. I had 20 players including myself, so I chose to deviate from the rules a bit and allow people to mingle and deliver their scripts when asked by another guest. It made the game a bit chaotic but still fun. The game appears to be designed to play while sitting around at a table (e.g.: dinner party). I wouldn’t recommend playing with such a large group as it will take really long to get through everybody’s script for each round. If you’re looking for more of a mingling-type of murder mystery game, maybe look elsewhere unless this site offers that style of game. Otherwise, definitely go all in on this well designed game.

This was such a fun mystery! We used 28 of the characters. Everyone loved their characters and had fun getting ask dressed up. We opted to use the detective files instead of having someone play that roll and it worked well. My only advice is if you were using the expansion packs to make sure all of the questions for the rounds are printed off extra and given to the original main group. When you do the expansion pack, they are the only ones that have questions for that group of people, and so there were a few hiccups in the flow of things, and if I had caught that beforehand, I would’ve just printed off things differently.
