Which games include the app?
Every dinner party murder mystery — digital or boxed. Cold case files and Unsolved Trails are solo investigations that play differently, so they don't use it.
How many guests can play?
Dinner party games cast 4 to 20 guests depending on the mystery — the biggest stretch to 30 — and every product page lists its exact cast size.
What does it cost?
Nothing. It's part of the game, not an add-on — every dinner party game includes it, with no subscription and no extra unlock.
Do my guests need to install anything?
No. Their invitation arrives with a personal link, and everything runs in the phone browser they already have. No app store, no accounts, no sign-ups.
Do we need wifi on the night?
Each phone just needs a normal internet connection — home wifi or mobile data both work, the same as browsing any website. The app is light on data, so an ordinary signal is enough.
What if someone won't use a phone?
The night still works. Your game contains every character booklet and clue, so a phone-free guest plays the classic way while the app keeps everyone else in character.
Can the host really not know the killer?
Really. The app casts the murderer in secret and tells only their phone. You host the night, play your part — and get to be as shocked as everyone else.
Does it work over video call?
Yes — host in person or over a video call. Every guest has their script and secrets on their own phone, wherever they're sitting.
