Dressing up adds to the atmosphere, sparks fun photo ops, and makes the mystery all the more memorable.

Our church group here in St. Albans, VT had great fun with the game last night. All twenty suspects played with great enthusiasm! We shared the rumors with the non suspects to include them, so everyone had a good time. Ended up the crazy girlfriend/fan did it.

Our family reunion group loved The Great Bake Down! Our 89 year old dad played Barry Merry to a T, and mom was the perfect 50's housewife Marge O'Reen. My brothers brought Ed Velvet and Goldie Ramsey to life, and aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews all had great fun dressing up too. We served a brunch of pastries and fruit and a telltale fruitcake, of course. The directions are easy to follow and the event flows smoothly. As the host, I found that it was easier to stay in the inspector role after round 2. Rather than assigning letters and drawing the murderer I quietly told Nigel that he was the murderer. We wore nametags which was helpful. I highly recommend Masters of Mystery -- this was our 2nd one and I'm looking forward to our 3rd!

The group really enjoyed it! There were times when it lagged a bit - I think I didn’t explain the part where rumors were shared very well because there was no way they could do it for 15 minutes, even with 17 participants + the inspector + the host. Overall, though, it was very well received!

A great evening and some fun characters! The kit is so well thought out and put together with the mix of audio, verbal and physical clues and questions. We really enjoyed being in the Great Bake Down tent

I bought this for my daughter's birthday. Her and her friends had a blast playing.

I organized this murder mystery party for my birthday and it was so fun! Initially I was a litter nervous to run the game because I had never done anything like this before and wanted to make sure things ran smoothly. The kit allowed me to be 100% confident in how the game would progress allowing me the freedom to get into the gameplay as a participant. The scripts made my guests feel at ease that they didn’t have to make up a character from scratch and allowed them to put a spin on their assigned role. Overall it was a 10/10 and I would absolutely recommend this kit to friends.

We had a great time, almost everyone dressed their part and we turned it into an actual baking competition!

It was easy to host. I just need to read the host guide. I was also the inspector which I loved! Everyone edited pulling out their creative side and we had some AMAZING laughs!! I’m glad I am able to do it again and again.

This game was excellent! I love that you can play it multiple times. So much fun.

We had lots of fun and laughs!

The party was super fun. It was easy to set up and run as a host. The mystery was a little hard for my guests but that might just be due to the first time running it. The baking theme was great and the names knocked it out of the park. If you have friends that can go all in, make sure to invite them. The inspector was also a character that we used and ended up being the favorite since they could really ramp up the dramatics.

The family nickname for our house is "The Sam's Head" so we pretended to be the pub where the Bake Off took place. The whole family entered into the spirit of the occasion and dressed up accordingly with my son in law speaking with a French accent whose ad lib was perfect. At the end of the evening everyone said can we do it again. A very enjoyable and amusing evening. Unfortunately I cannot post pictures of people for various reasons. But the house was decorated. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

I purchased the 14 character pack. 13 of the 14 people invited showed up and they all loved getting into character. It was a blast. The only thing we had an issue with was that there was no real way to know about the allergy that was ultimately the murder weapon. It would've been more interesting if we would've been able to find that out before the very end. Otherwise great game!!

We actually did a bake off along with our murder mystery. A lot of fun

Everyone loved it and were asking for the link

We had a great time doing this for my birthday, everyone got into character and really tried to following the game. One tip, read the instructions fully before starting it will make it easier to understand all in all great time had.

Bought this game for my daughter’s 13th birthday party. We had 12 guests and they all loved taking part. They all enjoy acting and drama so they found it fun to make up rumours and add lib to their character responses. The rounds of questions can be quite long but it worked well they all had questions to ask and no one was left out. It definitely was a hit and an original idea for a teens party.

Really easy to follow booklets Lovely colours and designs too Fantastic night I also bought another game since Thank you

Everyone had a great time! The only feedback we had was the riddle made no sense to solve and we didn’t actually end up coming with the answer. But other than that, everyone really got into their characters and the scripts were fun.

We had a fantastic mystery party with our coworkers! It was a very easy packet to follow and the team had a wonderful time! We didn't do the mingling- we just sat around a table eating food and baked goods and reading the script and it was fabulous! Would definitely do again! I greatly enjoyed the fact that the murderer could change in case someone was sick- it made it much simpler to execute! I would highly recommend this murder mystery party to everyone!

We had a wonderful time with my daughter and her friends for her murder mystery birthday celebration!

Baked cupcakes to go with it!

We had a good time, it was a bit confusing. Overall, fun though. We loved the detective.

My family loves British Bake-off so this was the perfect game. We had a blast and it was easy to follow. Clare

We held our as a dinner party. Everyone had to come as the character. OMG the laughing, eating. As a side note. Our guests didn’t know each other and all had cooking in common. We had credited chefs & bakers. Such fun. Now we will be doing another one. 1946

The Murder Mystery was a lot of fun, and the fact that the murderer can be chosen after the first round made it even better

What a cracking night, lots of cake, wine and dastardly deeds!

We had a blast! They are very straightforward to use and was not hard at all. We did a casual walk around the house with lots of snacks and did group sessions in the living room as a group. I love that you can use it over and over and have different people be the one who is at fault so it’s nice being able to use it again. The next time we do it I think we will have a meal for part of it as there is a decent amount of dialogue in the middle of it and I feel like a meal would be perfect during this time! We had a blast. We did it with a group of eighth graders and I thought it was great. There was just one character I edited a touch! I highly recommend this!

Oh my word, we had so much fun! We played the game with 14 characters at a party. We took inspiration from the Great British Bake Off and decorated our "stage area" with the little party flags and had an impromptu Bake Off co test (we had each character decorate a cupcake in the style of their character). It was hilarious. At the party, in addition to the 14 characters, there were about 10 people who just watched the theatrics play put. It was great fun! The character who was revealed to be the murderer (Barry Merry) had, on his own, come up with an elaborate ending (a proposal to Marge O'Reen - the actors are married in real life) on hid own... and then his murderous revelation was amazing! The game is so organized. Out of our 14 characters, only 5 had played before. We did the Gatsby inspired one last fall. The characters were nervous, but the materials helped out A LOT. People loved their puny names. The character costume suggestions were very helpful. Great game idea. Huge amount of fun! These are great names.

We had so much fun playing this murder mystery. We’ve played other mysteries before by different makers but this one was much more fun than the other brands. We loved the rumors section and all the evidence.

Really fun, played at a girls afternoon tea and we all had fun. The only thing I would say is that when printing off, i didn't actually need everything and could have saved on a lot of paper, so have a read through before printing (it won't spoil the game).

We used this set for my daughter’s birthday. The game was easy to follow and setup. It was also engaging, keeping 10 teenage girls focused and engaged is no easy feat!

Enjoyed it when played it with a group of friends. I accidentally ordered the on line version rather than the box set so had lots of printing to do. However an enjoyable mystery and great that the killer changes each time.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed this Bake Off-themed murder mystery game! It was easy to follow, but yet appropriately-challenging at the same time. The characters were ready to impersonate and the costuming was fun and attainable!

The game play was super fun. This is our third Murder Mystery party and we love the fun storylines, the hilarious character names and the fact you can play multiple times. The one request we have is to change the way the scripts print out. None of our printers will allow them to print as a booklet, so we waste a ton of paper cutting out the quarter of the page to make a booklet.

We had a great evening! All food prepared used Great British Baking show recipes. Everyone dressed in character and played their part. Thoughtful gifts for winners.

it was fun and we added a technical challenge between courses, decorating and making small ginger bread houses.

I ordered an online kit for my son's birthday. He chose the Bake-off themed game, and he and his friends talked and laughed all night. I had almost as much fun being the game host.

We had a ton of fun playing this game! What I loved most was that we could play it more than once and not be able to predict the outcome - GREAT game!

The game theme and characters created were really fun. It was very flexible due to having the randomised murderer mechanic, and meant that when some guests cancelled last minute with illness, the game was still playable. The puzzles between questioning were a nice touch but ultimately couldn't be used to point to a suspect because of the randomised element. I would have liked more gender neutral roles scripted as it was for a single gender event. Some of the scripted prompts were the same for multiple characters - it would have been better if all were unique. Ultimately we all had a great time. I liked that it was replayable I played once with a small group to familiarise myself with the setup for hosting, and then hosted a bigger group. I made sure none of the characters used overlapped between games so I couldn't have remembered differences in their innocent / guilty script.
