How Masters of Mystery Games Work
<p>Choose a theme, match the game to your guest count and assign characters before the event. Most games take 1½–3 hours and accommodate 4–20 players. The Host Guide leads you through setup and each round, so no acting or hosting experience is required.</p><p>Our games use a randomly selected murderer, so you can replay with a different mix of characters and still enjoy a satisfying reveal.</p><p>Every kit includes a Host Guide, detective scripts and audio files, character guides and costume suggestions, evidence and invitations.</p>

How the mystery unfolds
Round 1
Meet the suspects
<p>Each player introduces their character by reading from the script or improvising. Many games add a rumours round, giving everyone a reason to start asking questions.</p>
Round 2
Motive
<p>The detective's script or audio guides the investigation. Question the other players and examine the evidence to narrow down your suspects.</p>
Round 3
Method
<p>Discover how the crime was committed. New questions and evidence test every story—and leave fewer people you can trust.</p>
Round 4
Opportunity
<p>Use the detective's final evidence to work out who had the opportunity to commit the crime.</p>
Accusation round
Whodunit?
<p>Make your accusation: who did it, how and why? Keep it concise or make it theatrical—this is your moment.</p>
Final statements
The reveal
<p>Each player reads a guilty or innocent statement and the truth comes out. It is time for the culprit to confess.</p>
