ROSALINDA ‘MUM’ DEKEGG is the heart of Ye Olde Buccaneer’s Rest—a warm, radiant presence with a ready smile and a laugh like chimes in a breeze. Her auburn curls are usually tied back with a ribbon that matches her mood, though a few rebellious strands always fall to frame her freckled cheeks. There’s a gentle strength in her bearing, the kind that comes from years of wiping tables, pouring pints, and keeping the peace even when pirate boots stomp mud across her freshly scrubbed floors.

BETTY BOUNCE is a barmaid at Ye Olde Buccaneer's Rest with practised ease and a quicksilver tongue. No matter how rowdy the crowd or how loud the sea shanties, she keeps her cool—and keeps the rum flowing. Betty is a tall, broad-shouldered woman with chestnut-brown hair tied back in a tidy braid that swings as she moves. LAWS TATSY looks more like a scholar than a sailor—slight of build, with tousled, sandy-brown hair. He wears a crisp navy coat trimmed with gold braid, boots polished to a mirror shine, and a tricorn hat perched just so atop a carefully powdered wig. Every detail of their uniform screams authority—right down to the shining badge and ceremonial sword that's never seen a fight. Their moustache is impeccably groomed, their gloves always spotless, and their cologne strong enough to be noticed before they enter a room.

PULLAMINE PINT is the local distiller and rum producer. She is sun-leathered with hands stained the colour of oak barrels and a nose that can detect the difference between a fine spiced rum and a spoiled batch from fifty paces. Her curly grey hair is always tied back with a strip of old sailcloth. She moves with the slow confidence of someone who knows her rum is the best around and dares anyone to say otherwise.

ALI SORAN is the lean, sharp-eyed, second mate of the Bouncing Barnacle Bristling with restless energy, his dark hair is always out of place, as though he's just come from chasing someone—or being chased. His coat is well-kept, but the embroidered cuffs and gleaming buttons make him seem too flashy for his rank. His boots are polished, his belt impeccably arranged, and yet there's always something a little off—like he's dressed for a spotlight that never quite turns his way.

ELIZA DUCKS carries herself with the quiet poise of someone raised in polite society—but her eyes have started to sharpen like the blades she's learning to throw as a new pirate. With sun-kissed skin and neatly kept dark hair now often tied back in a practical braid, she's traded her silk slippers for worn leather boots and doesn't miss them.

GREGOR GREENBEARD is a whirlwind in boots, known across the deck of the Bouncing Barnacle for his unmatched swordplay and wisdom as a pirate. He's lean, quick, and always on edge, his sea-weathered face set beneath a shock of wiry green facial hair that refuses to be tamed—or taken seriously. He's tried shaving it off more than once, but even then, the cursed green hue clings stubbornly to his skin, leaving his jaw looking like it's been dipped in algae.

JUANA ZEECRU is the Bouncing Barnacles lookout. She has piercing eagle eyes that doesn't let anything get by her. She wears a grey jacket with lots of pockets to bring snacks with her up to the crow's nest, which she climbs up to with incredible grace and agility. Her brunette hair is covered with a pirate hat so no stray strands cover her sea blue eyes which she takes better care of than anything else.
