It was so fun- though we didn't dress up all the way, we still had an incredible time. Committed, funny friends and a good script made for a wonderful night (photo of victim and detective who got a little t o o into it?)
It was best 18th birthday for my daughter! We had a dinner party at our house. What made it so fun was that everyone came in costume and got into character. The scripts were easy to follow and once we got going the guests felt more comfortable to interact. There were more male characters in the kit, so a few of us really got into character. Our whole dinner took about 2 hrs. The kit had everything we needed and laid out instructions well. So fun!
We got this for a milestone birthday party!! It was a huge success. One of our guests played the role as detective which really made it even better. Everyone acted their roles and we gave away prizes for best costume and best performer!! Worth every penny!! I loved The suggested food options and even the Spotify playlist. We had 19 active roles (1 being the detective) and only 2 guests did not dress up. Such fun. Highly recommend!!!
So much fun! Played the Moorebourne murder mystery. Had lots of fun decorating in Victorian style and most everyone participated in dressing in costume which made it so much fun! Planning on purchasing another one. A+ for a game for adults. Many laughs had and memories forever.
We set the party up in the family room. It was only 6 of us. But a fun time had by all from 12yo to 79yo in age. A TIMELESS FUN NIGHT!
I did this for my 50th birthday. What an absolutely fab evening !! Everyone thought it was brilliant fun. It is fairly complicated to navigate when there are lots of you. It took a lot of planning as there was 15 of us And a three course meal. But the chaos was part of the fun 😁 Will definitely be doing it again

We decided to have a go at this murder mystery for a bit of fun as part of a weekend get away for our extended family, and didn't really know what to expect. None of us had ever tried anything like this before. The whole thing was great, and was the highlight of our weekend. The pack contained everything that we needed, and everyone really got into the spirit of the event, including dressing up in character. Even those who were a little bit sceptical about it beforehand had a lot of fun. If you are looking for something different to do to entertain a family or group of friends, irrespective of age, then I would highly recommend it. The people at Masters of Mystery have thought of everything, and the instructions are simple and easy to follow, so the host doesn't need to worry about what they are doing, and can take a full part in the event. We will definitely be doing this again.
We had a fun party, the murderer did an excellent and theatrical confession, the characters were great.
We had a wonderful time! We invited friends from many different parts of our lives and few knew each other. By the end of the evening, many pledged to get together next year and do something like this again. The product was easy to access, but complex enough to challenge each player. 100% recommend Masters of Mystery.
Such fun solving this dastardly crime! We all got into character, dressed up and put on the appropriate voices. Great silliness ensued, helped with party food and drinks. Our only criticism was that a lot of printing was involved. Apart from that, it was brilliant!

This was our first murder mystery experince, and we had so much fun as a family that we ordered a second one and can't wait to play again.
Great fun getting into character. We had a lot of laughs. Would spend more time learning individual characters so less time looking at descriptions.
It was really great, I love the variety of who can be the murderer, the interchangeability of characters, the flexibility of it is masterful. My only complaint is the video portions of the detective are pretty outdated and detract from the “realism” of the event. It’s all in good fun of course, but I think better animation and video segments would greatly enhance this product.
We had such a great time with this kit! Everyone received their characters beforehand to prepare costumes. Following along to the instructions was easy and fun! We definitely plan to do it again in the future with different packages!!

A Fantastic Night of Myster! We had an amazing time playing Masters in Mystery: Sherlock Holmes Edition! The game was easy to set up, incredibly immersive, and packed with clever clues and twists. Everyone got into character, sparking laughs, debates, and surprises as we worked together (and competed!) to solve the case. If you love a good whodunit or want a fun, unforgettable evening, this game is a must!

We did this last night (oct 26, 2024). It was an absolute blast! Costumes on point, people acting..... making new friends! A fantastic night of fun! Game lasted a good amount of time trying to figure out who dunnit!

Our friends had a great time with this murder mystery. The story was well written and we all love that the killer can be anyone and is selected randomly - and therefore the story can be replayed. This is the only place we can get these for such large groups. We have already purchased three more titles and the commercial licenses for each because our escape room business will be hosting these as public events. Our customers loved this free party as a beta test - and they are demanding more! I am so glad we found Masters of Mystery!

Everyone enjoyed it and had prizes for best actor, best costume, person who was most voted as murderer, and as nobody got it, prize for best liar [the murderer]. Only thing is that the choosing of a random murderer doesn't give a clear way of solving it so it's a bit of a guessing game. It would allow the game to be played again but everyone seemed to agree that they wouldn't play the same scenario again anyway so better if fixed murderer and a more clear path to solving it.
We all had a fun evening solving the murder.

We had a surprise birthday party for my mystery buff. It was a true surprise! We used the video as the detective. 8 actors got there character pack a week ahead of time. I taped the innocent/guilty pages beside each other, so they weren’t turning pages over. It was a lot of fun and the murderer was guessed correctly by one player. Thank you for a great night!
